The General Council of the Municipality of Bucharest (CGMB) approved in Thursday’s meeting the feasibility study for the modernization of nine kilometers of district heating network.
Termoenergetica submitted the feasibility study proposing the dismantling of existing hot water pipes and their replacement with new steel pipes, in pre-insulated solution. The total estimated value is of 215,867,245 lei without VAT, of which 177,865,873 lei represent the expenses for constructions – assembly.
These are sections of the district heating I West, I South, II South and III South. These totaled in the period 2018-2021 a number of 114 damages and have been in operation between 28 and 58 years.
Through these sections, the consumers from the following districts are supplied with hot water: Militari, Drumul Taberei, Crângaşi, Titan, Pantelimon, Colentina, Doamna Ghica and Tei.
Rehabilitation of the district heating system aims to reduce environmental pollution, reduce operating costs and improve services to the population.
