The EU’s energy efficiency target is “very ambitious” and although everyone is trying to achieve it, there are obstacles that are hard to avoid, said Ciprian Bodiu, Head of Sales at Parapet.

“The European energy efficiency target is very ambitious and everyone wants to achieve it. But it is normal that we will encounter obstacles along the way,” he said at the conference Regional Approach: Chisinau 2024, organised by Energynomics.

Parapet has participated in the construction of 1 GW of renewable energy production units using solar panels at European level. The company operates mainly in Germany, with around 20% of its power plants located in Romania.

Locally, Parapet’s portfolio includes more than 250 installed PV or combined heat and power plants, turnkey projects or in various stages of construction, with a total installed capacity exceeding 1 GWp. The PV parks built by Parapet produce, in total, an average of about 1,200 GWh/year, avoiding the emission of about one million tons of CO2 into the atmosphere annually.

The conference Regional Approach Chișinău 2024 was organized by Energynomics with the support of our partners: Boglight Gaz Moldova, Elektra Renewable Support, Parapet GmbH, Siemens Energy, Simtel Team, SolaX Power, Waldevar Energy, Transgaz.
