The economy grew by 5.6% in the third quarter (Q3), and official data show a recovery in the V shape of the economy, wrote, on Friday, on Facebook, the Minister of Public Finance, Florin Cîţu.
“Official data – V-shape return of the economy! In the third quarter the economy grew by 5.6%. I said from the first moment that the economy is recovering from the third quarter and now the data confirms. Today we have confirmation that the PNL Government managed the economy very well in the most difficult period of the last hundred years,” it is shown in Florin Cîţu’s post.
Romania recorded an economic decrease of 6% in the third quarter of 2020, compared to the similar period of 2019, but compared to the previous quarter it increased by 5.6%, according to data from the National Institute of Statistics, released on Friday.
According to the INS, between January 1 and September 30, 2020, the Gross Domestic Product decreased, compared to the similar period of 2019, by 5.1% on the gross series and by 4.6% on the seasonally adjusted series.
