CNAIR granted a 20-year concession to Rompetrol Downstream for the modernization of some service areas on the A2

The National Road Infrastructure Administration Company (CNAIR) concluded a 20-year concession contract with Rompetrol Downstream SRL, for the modernization of some service areas on the Bucharest-Constanța highway (A2), announced, on Thursday, on Facebook, the general director of the National Road Infrastructure Administration Company, Cristian Pistol.

“Through the concession contract concluded with Rompetrol Downstream SRL, the service spaces on Autostrada Soarelui (Feteşti) will offer European standard facilities to the users of the road network: parking for cars, coaches, trailers; public toilets; fuel distribution stations; commercial spaces; snack bar; rest areas; light and heavy vehicle charging stations,” wrote the general manager of CNAIR on the social network.

The contract includes the possibility of setting up additional facilities: restaurant and motel. The duration of the contract is 240 months (20 years), stated Cristian Pistol.
