The tax for efficient cogeneration has been increased, as a result of an Order of the Energy Regulatory Authority, already published in the Official Gazette, writes e-nergia.ro.

“The contribution for high efficiency cogeneration is approved at the value of 0.02263 lei / kWh, excluding VAT,” it is shown in the ANRE order with no. 189/2020, published in the Official Gazette on October 22.

The new value of the cogeneration contribution enters into force on November 1, 2020, according to the same normative act.

Currently, after several changes in recent years, the cogeneration contribution is set at 0.0161 lei / kWh, which means that, from November 1, it will increase by about 40.56%.
