Aggreko provides power generation and temperature control solutions to customers who need them either very quickly, or for a short length of time. The company has two business models. In the Local business, they hiring their equipments to customers who operate it for themselves, although those retain responsibility for servicing and maintenance. In the Power Projects business, Aggreko operate as a power producer, installing and operating power plants and its customers are paying for having the generating capacity available, as well as the electricity Aggreko delivers to them. The company is doing all of this on a global basis - they run their business from over 190 service centres and offices, located in more than 45 countries.
