Rompetrol Well Services (RWS) is a member company of Rompetrol NV Group since 2000, specialized in well services for the extraction of crude oil and natural gas. In Romania, RWS has mainly focused on the harmonization of its operational technologies and procedures with the requirements and standards of some top international operators, currently active on the internal market, as a result of the privatization and globalization process of the Romanian oil and gas industry. RWS launched the third operational base in Kazakhstan and initiated the first contracts for cementing services in Iraq and the Balkan peninsula. Following a global development strategy, RWS has opened its first operational base in the North of Iraq, an area where investments in the oil sector are developing rapidly. Recently, the company’s services focused on the natural gas exploration in the North-East of Bulgaria.
