The Competition Council announced on Monday that it is analyzing the transaction by which Grampet Logistics SRL intends to take over Electromontaj Carpati.

Grampet Logistics SRL is a provider of transport solutions in Europe and Asia, which integrates different modes of transport and auxiliary services in the logistics chain, offering personalized services. The company is a member of the Grampet group, active mainly on the market of goods transport services, especially rail transport, and related activities.

Electromontaj Carpați S.A. its main object of activity is utility projects for electricity and telecommunications.

In accordance with the provisions of the Competition Law no. 21/1996, this transaction must be authorized by the Competition Council, which will evaluate it in order to establish its compatibility with a normal competitive environment and will issue a decision within the terms provided by law.
