Prime Minister Mihai Tudose decided to revoke Constantin Gheorghe from the position of president, with the rank of state secretary, of the Black Sea Offshore Oil Regulatory Authority (ACROPO). By decisions published on Monday in the Official Gazette, the head of the Executive decided to appoint Iulian Offenberg as President of ACROPO for a five-year term. Until now, Offenberg was vice-president of the Authority.
For a short mandate, Iulian Offenberg was the third president of ANRM this year, after Aurel Gheorghe and before Gigi Dragomir.
Also on Monday, Vasile Guşatu was appointed as vice-president, with the rank of Undersecretary of State, ACROPO, for a five-year term.
Constantin Gheorghe, former director of GSP – Grup Petroliere Services, was appointed to ACROPO’s leadership at the end of April, after being part of the Initiative Group set up by the Romanian Government in 2014 to transpose into national legislation a European Directive for the safety of offshore operations.
