The Ministry of Energy has decided to extend the mandatory deadline for the submission of technical grid connection permits (ATR) by beneficiaries of the ElectricUp program in the IT application until 11 November 2022.
By Order 949 of 22 September (inRO), the Ministry of Energy replaces the provision in the original Guidelines, according to which “within 90 days of signing the financing contracts, beneficiaries are required to enter the ATR into the computer application”, at the risk of cancellation of the financing contract.
The decision comes in order to coordinate ministerial orders with secondary legislation promoted by the National Energy Regulatory Authority (ANRE), which has undergone multiple amendments since the provisions of ANRE Order No 69 of 15 April 2020, amended by ANRE Order No 192 of 28 October 2020, amended by ANRE Order No 15 of 10 March 2021, amended by ANRE Order No 19 of 2 March 2022 and subsequently amended by ANRE Order No 104 of 3 August 2022.
In April 2022, more than a year after applying, the first qualified companies started receiving funding contracts. Money is now flowing to recipients, advances and final dossiers.
ElectricUp is a funding program for small and medium-sized businesses and HORECA launched on 4 December 2020 to support the installation of photovoltaic panel systems as well as charging stations for electric and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles. More than 1,800 companies are expected to receive an average of around 325 thousand lei out of a total budget of almost 600 million lei.
