Bento, a Romanian company specialized in the development and implementation of software solutions and the provision of IT and Cloud infrastructure services, announces the signing of a contract worth 32 million lei, for the implementation of its own software solution Bento Field Service Management (Bento FSM), in following the winning of a public procurement procedure carried out by Distribuție Energie Electrică Romania (DEER), a company owned by Grupul Electrica.

The Bento solution will represent one of the largest FSM-type projects in Romania in the field of energy and utilities, to be used by more than 1,200 field technicians.

The company won the public procurement procedure as the leader of an association, together with EY Romania (Ernst & Young Romania). As part of the project, Bento will deliver a complex IT solution, composed of hardware and software, and perform related services.

The solution that Bento is going to implement aims at the automation of field services and workforce management within DEER. The IT platform that will be implemented within this project is based on its own software products, Bento FSM and Bento MDM, products in which Bento has constantly invested in recent years, including by using funds attracted in the private placement from November 2021, prior to the listing of the company on the AeRO market of the Bucharest Stock Exchange.

EY Romania’s contribution consists in the provision of project management and business analysis services, representing 11% of the total activity related to the project.
