Delgaz Grid develops an investment of 3.5 million lei in the transformation stations Bularga – Iasi, Câmpulung Moldovenesc – Suceava and Şişcani – Vrancea. The Şişcani transformation plant is located on the administrative territory of Vrancea County at the border with Bacău County, most of the consumers in the southern Bacău county being supplied with energy from this station.

The replacement of the three power transformers require an investment effort of approximately 3.5 million lei and involves the installation of new equipment, their integration into SCADA (remote control and data acquisition), as well as modernization of transformers to avoid accidental oil pollution. The completion of these works increases the safety of the energy supply to over 44,000 consumers.

The transformer stations take over the energy from the transport system and by means of these power equipment they change the parameters in order to be distributed through medium voltage networks to large consumption areas (communes, localities, neighborhoods, etc.).

Delgaz Grid last year invested more than 257 million lei in the modernization of the Moldovan energy system and the investment programs continue this year.
