The best electricians of Delgaz Grid from Suceava, Botoșani, Bacău, Iași, Neamț and Vaslui counties will compete starting Wednesday in the Electrician’s Trophy, an event that reached its 42nd edition, the company announced.
The specializations in the competition are: operation of transformer stations, operation of medium and low voltage networks, PRAM (protections and automation), electricity measurement, installation and repair of 110 kV primary equipment and medium voltage of transformer stations, installation and repair of medium installations voltage and low voltage (transformer stations, overhead and underground power lines), defectoscopy of medium and low voltage underground power lines, energy distribution dispatcher.
To these trades is added, for the first time at company level, but also at national level, a new specialization, intended for engineers, in which six specialists from the company will participate.
All the competitors qualified for the company phase had to pass, based on professional and occupational safety tests, the mass phase of the Trophy, in which almost 1,000 competitors participated.
The event includes, for the sixth year, the Junior Electrician Trophy section, a section in which three students from four educational units with energy classes will participate: “Dimitrie Leonida” Technical College from Iaşi, “Nicolae Vasilescu-Karpen Technical Communication College” from Bacău, “Samoil Isopescu” Technical College from Suceava and ”Ștefan Procopiu” High School from Vaslui.
The Electrician’s Trophy is a traditional event, probably the longest-lived and largest professional competition in Romania. The history of the competition begins in 1977 and is closely related to Moldova, the first edition also taking place in Iași.
