At the end of last year, Distribuție Oltenia prepared the documents for obtaining financing from the Ministry of Energy for 22 projects, in the entire operating area, the counties of Argeș, Dolj, Gorj, Mehedinți, Olt, Teleorman and Vâlcea. On February 14, another 4 projects received the positive approval and a financing of over 193 million lei, the total value of the projects being approximately 250.8 million lei, and the contribution from own sources – over 57.8 millions of lei.
Through its development strategy, Distribuție Oltenia aims to improve the level of safety in electricity distribution and reduce energy losses.
The Oltenia region distribution operator continues investments in the distribution network with the aim of reducing to a minimum the discomfort created for consumers in its operating area, by submitting financing requests for another 16 projects, worth over 893 million lei.
“Our investment projects are designed to bring long-term benefits to consumers and facilitate the energy transition towards a green future. We are concerned and treat with the utmost seriousness projects of green transition and the achievement of climate neutrality with particular impact in the energy sector. The projects signed on February 14 took into account trends in distributed generation, increasing the connection capacity of prosumers and local producers, the integration of new consumers for electric vehicle charging stations and, last but not least, energy efficiency through automation and digitalization distribution network,” said Eugen Butoarcă, CEO, Distribuție Oltenia.
