The Electrician Apprentice program, established by the Distribuție Oltenia operator in Argeș, Dolj, Gorj, Mehedinți, Teleorman and Vâlcea counties, also reached Olt county. Thus, starting with the school year 2021 – 2022, the Distribuție Oltenia project becomes complete, the company managing to expand in all the counties where the operator operates.

There are 24 places available for young people who are preparing for the ninth grade and want to perform in this field.

Distribuție Oltenia’s Project offers seven modernized laboratories. Approximately 300 were beneficiaries of the project, enrolled in the 2020-2021 school year, 10 young people already employed and another generation waiting their turn for internship and then employment.

”Drawing the line, the Distribuție Oltenia has achieved its objectives to provide a secure job for those who want excellence in energy and to contribute to increasing diversity in this industry (over 20 girls already enrolled in the project, 1 girl in internship). This year, the challenge is launched by Distribuţie Oltenia and the 24 girls and boys who will form a team in Olt County,” say the company officials.

The first five students in each class will obtain, based on performance criteria, monthly scholarships of 200 lei/ month, in addition to the financial support offered by the state to students in vocational schools. At the same time, among the benefits is a paid internship, for six months, after finishing the three years of school, in the Oltenia Distribution team, or with its partners.
