E.ON Energie Romania registered an explosive increase in the demand for cooling solutions in July, with a record of over 3,000 cooling solutions purchased by customers, more than double compared to the same period last year, against the background of temperatures extremes and heatwaves. At the same time, with around 2,200 installations, an average of 100 per working day, in July 2024 a record was reached in this regard as well, the number of installations being 100% higher than in July 2023.
Overall, in the first seven months of this year, demand for E.ON’s cooling solutions increased by almost 90% compared to the same period last year, and the pace of installations increased by more than 50%, with E.ON customers purchasing 7,200 cooling solutions, while the number of installations reached around 5,500.
“Cooling solutions are increasingly becoming a necessity to combat thermal stress, which has increased recently. In the last four years, more than 23,000 families have chosen our cooling solution with Inverter technology. The delivery of the equipment is only part of the solution, because we take care of the installation and also offer post-installation services, which makes the E.ON Cool solution appreciated by customers,” said Claudia Griech, general manager of E.ON Energy Romania.
The main advantages of E.ON Cool, indicated by the company’s customers, are the thermal comfort offered and the possibility to pay in installments. At the same time, most of those who purchased the E.ON solution say that they would recommend it for the quality and good functioning of the devices, but also for the speed of installation and the professionalism of the team that did the installation.
The air conditioners, exclusively with Inverter technology, can be used both for cooling the home, but also for heating, on cooler days, without the need to turn on the boiler. They are preferable to the classic ones for the many benefits: lower electricity consumption by up to 33%, high energy efficiency, low noise and high reliability over time.
The solution proposed by E.ON includes appliances with a higher energy class A++/ A+++ and complete technical services: transport, assembly, maintenance services, cleaning, sanitation and 24/7 emergency interventions at the electrical installation. Installation is done quickly by teams of authorized E.ON technicians and it is possible to pay in fixed monthly installments over 1, 2 or 3 years. Another benefit is the extended warranty for 5 years.
All models included in the E.ON solution are equipped with Wi‐Fi mode, which offers the possibility of controlling the air conditioner anytime and anywhere, with the help of the specific application and the mobile phone. This function allows you to turn on-off the device and set the temperature remotely, even when you are not at home, and scheduling time intervals helps to optimize energy consumption.
