E.ON Energie Romania donated 100,000 kWh to the National College of Art in Târgu-Mureș, with the help of Electric Castle participants, until July 21, the last day of the festival.

The “Give Light” campaign, initiated by E.ON in 2015, arrived for the second year in a row at the Electric Castle festival and launched a new challenge for those who wanted to have fun and, at the same time, do a good deed. They visited the E.ON Home Stage stand, powered 100% by renewable energy through E.ON Solar Home, and took part in the activities that awaited for them there.

Thus, those who arrived at the E.ON stand could compete by pedaling electric bicycles and even won one, following a draw. In the E.ON Life kitchen, coffee lovers participated in coffee-making workshops or created their own festival souvenir at the ceramics workshop. Even relaxing with a book from the library prepared with the help of partners from the Face Books Association contributed to donating energy to the National College of Art in Târgu-Mureș. Creative photos in the flipped room and a Frosted Wave sensory experience in an immersive and refreshing space were other surprises for those present there.

Any interaction of the visitors was transformed into 50 kWh, and the National College of Art in Târgu-Mureș will benefit from a maximum of 100,000 kWh of energy donated by E.ON Energie Romania with the help of those present at the festival.

For over 75 years, the National College of Art in Târgu-Mureș has cultivated the passion for music, visual arts, theater and architecture among young people, currently enrolling 500 students studying in Romanian and Hungarian. The students’ effort is rewarded year after year with numerous prizes at the national Olympiads, this year obtaining 1st place in textile design and 3rd place in painting, respectively sculpture.
