E.ON Energie România has launched on the Romanian energy market a series of natural gas and electricity products that come with insurance for unwanted events or that offer an extended warranty for household appliances and televisions.

E.ON Protect Gas provides customers with benefits, in addition to natural gas supply services, insurance in the event of unwanted events, including unemployment, total permanent disability from the accident or hospitalization. The protection offered to customers who are in one of these situations, consists in granting by the insurer a single compensation for an insured event in the amount of 1,350 lei within one year of insurance, compensation that will be transferred directly to their account.

E.ON Duo Secure is a unique utility product in Romania, which offers in addition to the package of natural gas and electricity, as a benefit to customers, an extended warranty insurance for household appliances and televisions, which consists of repair or even reimbursement/ replacement of these products for 2 insured events/ year of insurance, for maximum 5 goods. E.ON Secure Gas, dedicated to customers who choose the natural gas package and E.ON Secure Electric for those who opt for electricity have the same types of facilities as in the case of E.ON Duo Secure.

The protection program for the two packages was developed with the support of Marsh Romania as a consultant and administrator of the program, in partnership with the insurer Allianz Partners – AWP P&C S.A.
