This year’s E.ON Energy Innovation Days, which will take place on October 5-7, will bring together more than 70 renowned international experts to discuss how innovation leads to the energy transition. Energy Innovation Days is the largest European virtual event for energy innovators and opinion leaders. It gives stakeholders the chance to participate and interact during the more than 30 sessions organized. E.ON expects more than 10,000 participants from industry, research and politics.
E.ON Energy Innovation Days is taking place for the fourth time this year. Since its premiere, the event has become an important forum for dialogue on energy innovation between key players and experts around the world. The focus is on exchanging concrete ideas and solutions to pave the way for a CO2-neutral, digital and decentralized energy future.
“The energy transition is a huge challenge and one of the main tasks of our time. We will only succeed if we focus on courageous innovations and partnerships – at all levels of society and beyond corporate boundaries. Here at E.ON, we want to be pioneers and promoters of this change. E.ON Energy Innovation Days is a meeting place for all those who want to shape the future world of energy with us,” said Leonhard Birnbaum, CEO of E.ON.
In addition to E.ON Board members, the speakers are top experts from Google, Sony, Eurelectric, the European Energy Exchange, NEOM, RWTH Aachen University, Ludwig Maximilian University Munich and the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP).
This year, for the first time, the interactive platform “Republic of Innovators” will serve as a virtual meeting place. Recently launched by E.ON, “Republic of Innovators” is a community space for the energy innovation industry to connect and exchange ideas. In addition to the sessions, innovative projects will be presented.
