The third edition of the E.ON Energy Globe Award Romania will be launched on May 1, when all those who have innovative projects, ideas or solutions in the field of energy efficiency and environmental protection can register, by the deadline 31, on the www.energyglobe.ro portal.
Enrollment is simple and should not take longer than a few minutes. All you have to do is go to www.energyglobe.ro and fill in the “Registration” section a form to mention the description of the project or the solution with which you want to enter the competition. Projects that are accompanied by clear and as detailed as possible information have increased chances of eligibility.
The competition is open to any natural or legal person in Romania, and also municipalities, commercial companies, scientific and research institutions, state organizations, non-governmental organizations, schools or universities.
A 10,000 euros grand prize
As in the previous editions, there are five categories in which competitors’ proposals can be included: Companies, Municipalities, Do it yourself, Youth and Ideas. Projects in different phases of implementation are eligible in the first four categories, while in the fifth only those initiatives or ideas that are not yet implemented will be included.
Winning projects in each category will be rewarded with valuable prizes, promoted, and enjoy a broad public interest. Their selection and evaluation will be carried out by an independent jury of renowned specialists and the awards ceremony will take place at the special ceremony – the E.ON Energy Globe Award Romania Gala – that will take place in October in Bucharest. The grand winner will qualify for the international Energy Globe Award.
The Energy Globe Award is organized in Romania by E.ON since 2016. In the first edition of the competition, over 150 projects were registered and the Grand Winner – Ecostuff Timisoara Association – was selected to represent Romania at the Energy Globe Global Award, held in Tehran (Iran), where it ranked third in the Youth category, attracting the attention and appreciation of the whole world with the “Zero Waste School” and „Keep Danube Clean” projects. At the second edition, in 2017, over 160 projects were registered and the winner was the Prichindel Kindergarten in Suceava with the project “The City of the Future”.
