The Minister of Investments and European Projects, Adrian Câciu, had a working meeting with the Minister of Labor, Simona Bucura Oprescu, on Tuesday, in preparation for the visit to Brussels, next week, for negotiations regarding the amendment of the PNRR and the status of payment requests 3 and 4 within the Plan of Recovery and Resilience. According to the Ministry of Investments, discussions with European Commission officials will take place in Brussels on August 28 and 29.
According to the ministry, “the main topics that will be addressed during the trip on August 28 and 29 by the MIPE delegation are the modification of the PNRR according to the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2021/241 on the Recovery and Resilience Mechanism, the introduction of the RePowerEU chapter, which is already under analysis by the Commission, such as and the status of payment requests 3 and 4”.
“Minister Adrian Câciu will lead the delegation of the Ministry of Investments and European Projects in the discussions with officials of the European Commission that will take place in Brussels on August 28 and 29”, according to a press release from MIPE.
“On Tuesday, at the MIPE headquarters, a working meeting was held with the Minister of Labour, Simona Bucura Oprescu, the general director of the General Directorate for implementation and monitoring of policies, programs, projects, Ştefania Andreescu, state secretaries Alin Andries and Carmen Moraru from the Ministry of Finance, and the MIPE team included Teodora Elena Preoteasa, secretary of state and Laurențiu Crîmu, deputy general director of PNRR coordination, together with the relevant minister, Adrian Câciu,” the Ministry of Investments says.
