Distribuție Energie Electrică Romania (DEER) attracted yet another non-refundable European financing through the Modernization Fund (FM), in the amount of 6.25 million euro, representing 80% of the eligible expenses for an investment project in the electricity distribution network, a project of whose estimated value is of about 8.26 million euro (without VAT), according to a release sent to the Bucharest Stock Exchange.
This project completes the list of 4 investment projects for which DEER attracted 57 million euro through the Modernization Fund.
The newly financed project – Modernization of the 110 kV LEA (overhead power lines, LEA) Pogoanele – Jugureanu, Buzău county, aims to modernize 26.4 km of the 110 kV LEA, with a completion date of April 2027, and the objectives of the project are to increase the reliability and capacity of the high voltage network, increase the quality of the distributed electricity distribution service, ensuring the security of the electricity supply for existing users, as well as ensuring the possibility of connecting future consumers and producers, the release also states.
