Electrica Furnizare grants a sponsorship worth 30,000 euro to the Drobeta-Turnu Severin County Emergency Hospital, for the purchase of medical equipment.

According to a company statement, the money will be used for the purchase of medical equipment needed to treat patients infected with the coronavirus, according to Agerpres.

“Electrica Furnizare continues to actively support the fight against COVID-19 by granting a sponsorship worth 30,000 euro to the County Emergency Hospital Drobeta-Turnu Severin, funds that will be used for the purchase of medical equipment absolutely necessary for the care of patients affected by the virus. We consider important to support the national medical system in order to be able to face the current challenge, namely the pandemic caused by Coronavirus,” said Darius Dumitru Meşca, general manager of Electrica Furnizare.

Electrica Furnizare, the electricity and gas supply company of the Electrica Group, offers services to approximately 3.5 million final consumers, both on last resort and on the competitive market. The company holds a license to carry out the activity of supplying electricity and natural gas throughout the country.
