Electrica Furnizare installs PV panels at the Albacher factory in Sebeş

Electrica Furnizare will install 1,840 photovoltaic panels at the Albacher factory in Sebeş. The investment will contribute to reducing CO2 emissions by approximately 348 tons per year, the company said.

The “turnkey” construction project involves the installation of photovoltaic modules, each with a power of 445 Wp, will have an installed power of 818.8 kWp and an average annual electricity production estimated at 1,108 MWh.

According to the representatives of Electrica Furnizare, so far, the stages of landscaping for installation, purchase of equipment and design have started, and the entire project will be completed in the first part of 2022.

With an experience of over 120 years in the field of energy, Electrica Furnizare entered, in 2020, the market for the production of electricity from renewable sources, by purchasing the Stăneşti Photovoltaic Park, in Giurgiu County, with a capacity of 7.5 MWp. Currently, the company is implementing a series of projects that involve the delivery of customized, turnkey solutions for green energy production.

The company owns seven factories, in the localities of Borsec, Bucharest, Busteni, Sebeş and Stânceni, has over 2,200 employees and a turnover of over 172 million euros.
