Electrica aims to acquire, from own sources, electricity meters and associated equipment with 48.97 million lei (about 11 million Euro), the contract will be concluded for seven months after the awarding, according to a notice published in the Public Procurement Electronic System (SEAP), quoted by Bursa.

The contract will be awarded by negotiation, the company that will be granted the contract, will supply counters, assembly services for three lots and facilities as requested by the Electricity Distribution Branch (FDEE) Electrica Muntenia Nord, FDEE Electrica Transilvania Nord and Electrica Transilvania Sud FDEE.

The deadline for receipt of the tenders or requests to participate is April 21, 2015, 10 a.m.

Last year, Electrica earned a net profit of over 280 million lei, increasing by 612% over the previous year, according to the preliminary financial results published by the company.
