Electricity, natural gas and edible oil prices have risen the most in the last year, according to data from the National Institute of Statistics.
Between July 2020 and July 2021, prices for electricity rose by 24.65% and for natural gas by 20.55%.
In the category of non-food goods, in the last year the largest price increases were recorded for electricity – 24.65%, natural gas – 20.55% and fuels – 12.96%, while the only reduction was recorded in thermal energy, of 0.2%, according to Agerpres.
Since the beginning of 2021, the price of electricity has risen by 23.15%, of natural gas by 20.68% and of fuels by 11.27%.
The annual inflation rate rose to 5% in July 2021, from 3.9% in June, given that non-food goods rose by 7.64%, services by 2.74% and foods by 2.33%. Consumer prices in July 2021 compared to June 2021 increased by 1% and since the beginning of the year (July 2021 compared to December 2020) the price increase was of 4.4%.
