The constructor and supplier Electrogrup has taken over the location and will soon begin the execution of the contract for the installation of 16 charging stations for electric vehicles in the public parking lots in Oradea. Transilvania Business notes that the project is financed through the Administration of the Environmental Fund by the Oradea City Hall’s Department for Management of the Projects with International Financing.
The electrical connections from the transformation points of the electricity distributor to the delimitation point (according to the connection notice), as well as the electrical installations from the delimitation point to the e-charging stations will be made. In the next six months, the 16 stations will have to be installed and put into operation on Codrilor – Aquapark Nymphaea, Traian Park, Danube, Tudor Vladimirescu, Ștefan cel Mare, City Hall, M. Kogălniceanu, University, Splaiul Crișanei, Meiului, Islazului, Xenopol, Nufărului, Blv. Dacia and Ogorului streets.
The total value of the investment is 3.67 million lei, of which the non-reimbursable financing is 86.85%.
The objective of the project is to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in transport in Oradea.
