Elektra Renewable Support has 1 GW of new projects in development, most of which are hybrids, combining wind and photovoltaic energy, said Elena Popescu, CEO of the company, at the conference Regional Approach: Chisinau 2024, organised by Energynomics.

Some of these projects also include energy storage solutions.

The firm has also crossed the 600 MW threshold of projects in operation and maintenance. Popescu also said that the Storage Project near Cernavodă near Cernavodă has recently submitted a project for a 50 MW storage capacity.
