Elektra Renewable Support is currently developing projects totaling more than 1 GW of wind and solar energy. In about one month, the company is set to bring online the first hybrid project it worked on, according to Elena Popescu, CEO of Elektra Renewable Support.
“Most of our projects are hybrid. Last year, we commissioned our first hybrid power plant in Romania, attaching 1.1 MW of solar to a 6.5 MW wind turbine. Currently, it is undergoing testing, and in one month, it will be fully operational,” she said at the round table “Regional Approach Athens – Cooperation”, organized by Energynomics.
Elektra Renewable Support operates renewable energy production projects totaling over 400 MW nationwide, a significant increase from the 350 MW recorded in the first quarter of this year, stated Elena Popescu, CEO of the company.

The company provides technical consultancy and engineering services, SCADA monitoring, technical operation, maintenance, and commercial operation for renewable power plants.
