Elektra Renewable Support has contracted dispatching, monitoring and operation projects for renewable energy production units of more than 1,000 MW, said Elena Popescu, CEO of the company, at the conference “More renewables for Romania”, organized by Energynomics.
At the same time, the company monitors, operates and maintains wind projects with a cumulative power of 350 MW.
The company delivers technical consulting and engineering, dispatching, SCADA monitoring, technical operation, maintenance and commercial operation services for renewable power plants.
According to Popescu, the projects in the second wave of renewables are bigger and have more money compared to those in the first wave, over ten years ago. At the same time, the use of previously accumulated experience has the potential to lower the costs of installing new power generation units.
“This second wave is very good for us because we can use our experience of more than ten years in the development of projects from renewable sources. We can cover the entire range of needs. We improved our processes and learned from our own mistakes”, added Popescu.
The conference “More renewables for Romania” was organized by Energynomics with the support of our partners among which ABB, ACE Industrial Software, BCR, Consolight, Eaton Electric, Elektra Renewable Support, EnergoPower, European Energy, Finder, Geminox, Huawei, ING Bank, LAPP Romania, Marsh & McLennan Companies, Phoenix Contact, Photomate, Prime Batteries Technology, REI Grup, Renomia-Gallagher, Valmont, Volt, Wiren România, Wise Finance Solutions.
