EnergoBit is recognised for its extensive portfolio of medium and low voltage equipment and for its ability to constantly adapt to market requirements. With more than 30 years of manufacturing activity and three manufacturing facilities in Romania, in Jibou, Cluj and Bacău, EnergoBit aims to be a reliable partner in modernising and optimising energy systems, offering customised solutions and innovative products. “EnergoBit also has the energy you give us, it also has the information, much of it taken from you and only synthesised,” says Deputy CEO Adrian Terec, emphasising the close collaboration with customers and commitment to excellence.
One example of EnergoBit’s innovation is the range of medium-voltage cells, which meets stringent European requirements by eliminating SF6 (sulphur hexafluoride), one of the most potent greenhouse gases, with a global warming potential about 23,500 times greater than carbon dioxide (CO₂).
The MOD24 DS cubicle, designed for secondary distribution, has been developed not only to comply with legislation, but also to offer improved performance in terms of rated current and safety interlocks. Their compatibility with existing products ensures easy integration into customer installations. “We haven’t reached perfection yet, but we’re getting there. We know we have to evolve every year and that’s why we develop new products and solutions,” explains Adrian Terec, referring to the company’s long-term vision.
EnergoBit has also developed a modular solution for high-voltage substations called MOD110, which standardises components to shorten lead times. This flexible approach provides customers with a configurable product that can be quickly adapted to the complex needs of the power sector. As Adrian Terec emphasises, “These are the things we wanted, not to impose a standard, but to come up with a substation proposal that can be deployed quickly and provides configuration flexibility.”
EnergoBit will continue to respond to the challenges in the energy sector, preparing for new launches in 2025, minimum 3, and aiming to constantly bring solutions tailored to the dynamic requirements of customers in Romania and Europe.
