Romania needs to increase the automation of electricity networks and the digitalization of processes in order to become competitive both with energy-developed countries and with those based on cheap labor, says Mihai Pop, general manager of the Cluj energy solutions provider.
“Our business is committed to having as little impact on the environment as possible, to digitalize the entire supply and production chain to the point of sale, and to gradually introduce elements of innovation that will allow them to become competitive in the competition with other Member States, but also with economic models based on cheap labor. In the current context, technology and the ability to innovate have proved essential in the development of EnergoBit’s business,” says Pop, according to Energetic Messenger.
“Romania must take advantage of all the opportunities that have arisen and will continue to appear, to develop coherent, high-performance strategies, characterized by stability, and to have a clear and precise vision that will propel it in the developed countries of Europe. We have the opportunity to develop new industries, especially in the field of renewable resources, to create new jobs and to generate added value in the economy,” he added.
“It has become very clear to everyone that the pandemic has accentuated the need to increase the automation of electrical networks and to digitalize processes. Extremely accurate real-time data is needed to enable electricity operators to make the right decision,” added the EnergoBit official.
