BRD-Groupe Société Générale, as principal mandated arranger, signed a syndicated loan agreement of 145 million Lei (about 33 million Euro) with Energomontaj SA, for the purpose of financing activities and guarantee the projects developed by the company.

The consortium includes BRD-Groupe Société Générale, as a Mandated Lead Arranger, Warranty Agent and Issuing Bank, Allianz Tiriac Insurance, Romanian Bank, Banc Post and Groupama Insurance as creditors, according to Bursa.

It is the second such transaction of the company, that implies insurance companies, and represents a step towards building a valuable partnership for both parties and for the market as a whole, shows the company.

The participation of Allianz Tiriac is reinsured by reinsurance companies famous worldwide: Swiss Re and Allianz Group, through the specialized insurer – Euler Hermes. The syndicated loan documentation and the legal assistance were provided by the law firm Clifford Chance Badea. Allianz-Tiriac Insurance was assisted by the Voicu & Filipescu law firm.

Energomontaj is active in the construction and installation of equipment for thermal power plants, hydro and nuclear power plants. The company was involved in the design, manufacturing, installation and maintenance of all major investments in electricity, heating and hydraulic sectors, made in Romania in the last 50 years. The company capital is in majority Romanian capital.
