ADREM – 800,000 smart meters installed

Adrem offers customized smart metering services for energy distributors, being currently the most experienced smart meter installer in Romania, with over 800,000 smart meters in its portfolio. In the 10 years of experience in this field, Adrem has developed a complete package of specialized products and services for each stage of the process, including post-installation.

By installing smart meters, Adrem supports the development of smart networks, supporting the digitalization and efficiency of the energy industry, one of the three major objectives of the fight against climate change. At the same time, the company contributes to the transition to green energy by facilitating the installation of photovoltaic systems, thus encouraging the growth of this segment.

CEZ Romania – Renewable energy and energy storage systems

Along with energy production from renewable sources, energy efficiency is an important direction of CEZ Group’s business strategy in Romania. In the area of increasing the efficiency of the production capacity from hydro sources, the company started the installation of a new hydroelectric plant (CHE Breazova 2) on the bottom discharge of the Văliug dam, of 0.367 MW, within the existing development, a project co-financed with Norwegian funds. The grant obtained is 300,000 euros, and the project aims at an annual production of approximately 2,453 MW and the reduction of carbon emissions by approximately 770 tons of CO2 per year.

A complete 6MW/6MWh battery storage and supply system (BESS) is being implemented at the CEZ wind farm, with an estimated investment of 20 million lei. CEZ is analyzing a large BESS project targeting a storage capacity to manage wind farm imbalances.

Energy & ECO Concept – SMIATIC

The system of advanced aerial and ground monitoring and inspection of critical infrastructures – SMIATIC helps enormously to increase energy efficiency in the field of electricity transmission because it performs multispectral aerial drone monitoring of power lines.

The technical solution uses a set of innovative algorithms which helps in getting packages processing software and remaking video images like machine learning, for identification and automatic alarm in case of eventual incidents, defects and impediments from the field. Also, the technical solution includes an intelligent software component that allows generating flight plans for drones fleet on a mission and also innovative solutions for recharge, including wireless.

ENGIE Romania – PV system for Omnia Plast

Through the project carried out by ENGIE Romania, the beneficiary Omnia Plast achieved a reduction in electricity consumption of approximately 13%, and the amortization of the investment is estimated at 3 years.

ENGIE Romania – PV system for Popeci Utilaj Greu

Through the completed project, the beneficiary Popeci Utilaj Greu achieved a reduction in electricity consumption of approximately 8.47%. In this project, it was decided to place a rooftop photovoltaic system with an installed power of 322.64 kWp, obtained with a number of 592 monocrystalline modules of 545 Wp. The result is a carbon footprint reduction of 114 T CO2/year and a payback of the investment in 3 years.

ENGIE Romania – PV system for Dona Logistica

Through the project carried out by ENGIE Romania, the beneficiary Dona Logistica achieved a reduction in electricity consumption of approximately 39.65%. The beneficiary now enjoys increased energy autonomy through green energy production and reduced carbon footprint as well as operational costs.

ENGIE Romania – PV system for Menatwork

Through the project carried out by ENGIE Romania, the Menatwork company achieved a reduction in electricity consumption of approximately 37%, through the production of locally produced green energy. The project consisted of the installation of a rooftop photovoltaic system with an installed power of 509.03 kWp and results in a reduction of the carbon footprint by 550 tons of CO2/year and a payback of the investment in 5 years.

Photomate – Carbon footprint reduction for Celestica

Photomate provided Huawei technology and technical support for the implementation of the 1.6MW photovoltaic plant at the Celestica factory in the city of Borș, Oradea. Since commissioning on January 20, 2022, the system has produced 1.87 GWh and avoided the emission of more than 885 tons of CO2 into the atmosphere. A total consumption of 747 tons of coal was replaced by green sources.

Volt EVSE –5.5 MWp rooftop PV system

In August 2022, Volt EVSE completed the second stage of the photovoltaic plant project for Robert Bosch SRL, adding an installed power of 3.67 MWp to the 1.87 MWp achieved in 2021. Over the entire lifetime of the park, the beneficiary will take advantage of an energy saving of at least 120 GWh. The project, one of the largest installed on rooftops nationwide, has a huge positive impact on both the long-term internal working capital budget and the beneficiary’s non-financial reports, with ESG audits becoming an absolute must for all companies from the European Union.
