The Energy Policy Group (EPG) is organizing the seventh edition of the EPG Summer School. Registrations are open until April 14th.
The EPG Summer School, taking place this year between July 1st and 5th, provides insights into the current challenges facing the energy sector and the impact of various possible solutions.
The program is aimed at master’s/doctoral students and young professionals (up to 35 years old) studying/working in the energy sector or related fields (economics, law, political science, environmental studies, etc.).
Bogdan Leu, EPG Associate & Summer School Director:
“The EPG Summer School 2024 is an internationally exposed educational program through which we aim to provide young participants with valuable information in the fields of energy and climate, supported by high-level international experts, under the theme ‘Europe 2040 – Smart Energy Systems for a Sustainable Future’. The summer school schedule combines theoretical ideas learned during in-depth lectures with practical information from technical visits and engaging workshops.
We thus recommend the EPG Summer School 2024 program to young professionals, doctoral students, or students in their final years who wish to expand their knowledge in the field within an international framework. The summer school is also an excellent opportunity for interaction, debate, and networking with professionals from around the world, thus laying the foundation for an EPG Summer School alumni and lecturer community.”
Since many of the summer school topics will be approached from the perspective of public policies, ideal candidates may include: employees of international organizations, public affairs professionals within business organizations, public policy advocates within NGOs, researchers from universities, research institutes, and think tanks, etc.
More details about the program structure, included activities, and registration can be found on the EPG website.
