Energynomics invites you to the 11th edition of the Energynomics Awards for the Romanian energy industry! The flagship event of Energynomics will reunite, on December 7th, at the National Military Circle in Bucharest, top of the high representatives of the most important and most dynamic companies in the Romanian energy industry, and also central government and diplomatic officials, to celebrate performance, resilience and ingenuity in the Romanian energy industry!

The 11th edition of the Gala Awards organized by Energynomics will register the changes and progress after the rush in the business and in the administration, to open the holiday season, and start drafting the plans for 2024! Once again, we will point to the performers of the year. All the sectors – electricity, O&G, renewable, thermo, and mining, and all the themes – energy efficiency, smart energy, M&A, and investments, will be revealed in the right light and in cold balance.

PARTICIPATION
Access to the competition is free and open to any company operating in the Romanian energy sector, regardless of size, sector of activity, or shareholder structure. We created a dedicated page with a summary of the MOST FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS!
CALENDAR
14 October to 14 November 10.30 AM – Gathering the candidate projects UPDATE We have extended the deadline for applications until 21 November!
18 November – The candidate projects are submitted to the Jury
20 November – The Jury completes its first evaluation of projects. Jurors may request additional information.
26 November – The Jury receives additional information, if requested.
29 November – The Jury will determine the winning Projects.
14 November to 6 December – Presentation of the candidate projects on www.energynomics.ro
7 December – Announcing the winners
THE JURY
To select the winners, the jury will examine each application based on three fundamental principles.
SUCCESS –the proposals should prove commercial success in the activity sector of the respective company.
IMPACT –the proposals must have a measurable impact on the energy sector, upon the community or on the economy as a whole.
INNOVATION –the proposals should have introduced the Romanian energy sector with certain products/services / innovative business practices which contribute to the healthy development of the business.
CATEGORIES
The Energynomics Awards are celebrated annually, starting in 2013. The Awards have a symbolic character, i.e. it is a non-financial award. The awards aim to promote approaches, ideas and people with outstanding achievements that can be ascribed to one of the categories below. To respond to new dynamics in the energy market, from 2023 we introduced two new categories (marked with a different shade of blue). We have also decided to extend the scope of the Award for career achievements and rename it.
