Investments – private funds, public funds, support schemes
08 Feb 2022 @ 10:00 - 13:00
Tuesday, February 8th, 2021, from 10.00 am, Energynomics invites you to a conference about the money available for energy investments and how to get them done!
The money discussed as available to the Romanian energy industry in the next decade are dizzying, comparable only to the amounts calculated to be necessary. Among these, there are European money (NRRP, structural funds, Just Transition Fund, Horizon Europe), the Modernization Fund, the Environmental Fund Administration programs, but also some new financial schemes, such as contracts for difference (CfD). We should also add the Energy efficiency fund, administered by the Ministry of Energy – still to be launched, but also the ElectricUp program. More and more listed companies finance themselves using the stock exchange, at a time when the private investors’ appetite is growing, especially in the green sectors. Finally, a fast amendment of the offshore law would pave the way for investments of tens of billions of lei in the coming years for the extraction, transport, storage and usage of natural gas from the Black Sea.
New technologies are already supported by grants in research, prospecting or pilot projects, whether we are talking about hydrogen, carbon capture, SMRs, batteries or energy efficiency and digitization solutions.
At the beginning of the year, join the conversation to discover investments that can change the profile of the energy industry in Romania: what sources of financing do we have, what instruments we can use, who are the experts and the companies able to build successful projects?
