Rosetti Street), energynomics.ro invites you to yet another edition of our informal Energy Breakfast Club meetings this year, dedicated to experts and decision makers in the energy industry: Old buildings I New buildings: The Smart Approach. Official statistics talks about 15 billion lei invested annually in current maintenance and repair work. With all the decline in 2018, caused by the reduction in the construction of residential buildings, the value of new construction and capital repairs exceeds 65 billion lei each year, since 2008. However, Romania has the oldest housing stock in Europe, and studies show that over 84% of Romanians have at least one problem with their house; over 75% of them mention as the main causes of discontent the age of the dwelling and the acute need for rehabilitation, renovation and modernization. Each intervention, each investment, contributes to improving the building’s energy performance and is an opportunity to add elements of smart technology in lighting and air quality, energy management, optimization of the behavior of buildings themselves (energy supply, monitoring, reporting, secure data transmission, response etc). Energy Breakfast Club is a meeting of 2 to 3 hours where energy specialists have the opportunity to keep themselves up to date with the latest information and the most influential views on one the hot topics of the moment.

As a host, energynomics.ro will provide – from 09:00 AM – the MC and the coffee, will propose the theme and will launch the invitations for the speakers. They are selected accordingly with their best knowledge of the topic and are responsible for organizing ideas and stimulating intellectual challenges. Presentations will not exceed 20 minutes and are intended to be starting points for a dynamic exchange of ideas and perspectives.
