Practical aspects on buildings’ safety (March 8th)
08 Mar 2017 @ 09:00 - 13:00
Wednesday, on March 8th, from 9 am at Cesianu Racoviţă Palace in Bucharest, energynomics.ro invites you to another informal Energy Breakfast Club meeting, dedicated to experts and decision makers in the energy industry: Practical aspects on buildings’ safety – Emergency lighting for exit: legislative framework, risk assessment and implications on the design works, maintenance and periodic verification programs. With increased population density in urban areas there have emerged tall buildings or which may include large agglomerations of people. At the same time, the risks increased! In buildings under emergency situations – such as fires, power failures, earthquakes or, more recently, threats of bombings or terrorist attack – evacuation presents a real challenge both for state institutions as well as for designers, users and technology manufacturers. We’ll have explanations and case studies from a global leader with expertise in the protection and distribution of electricity: power backup and security; control and industrial automation; lighting and security systems; structured cabling solutions.
