Exxon looks to push forward with production of offshore gas in Australia, in 2021. The West Barracouta project, located in the Bass Strait of Australia has completed drilling. The company running the project is ExxonMobil’s subsidiary, Esso Australia. Exxon is seeking a partner for 50% of the project, according to oilreporting.com.
Exxon has given up the offshore gas project in Romania, currently seeking an investor for its own package of about 50% in the Neptun Deep perimeter of the Black Sea.
