The session of filing for financing in the program for installing photovoltaic systems for isolated households unconnected to the electricity distribution network was extended until October 11, 2019, the Environment Fund Administration (AFM) announced on Wednesday .

“The aim of the program is to increase energy efficiency, improve air quality and reduce greenhouse gas emissions by producing electricity from renewable sources at homes located at least 2 km from the national electricity distribution grid and by reducing the use of conventional fuels. The program is addressed to the administrative-territorial units that appear in the list of potential beneficiaries for which applications for funding can be submitted, the number of households and the amounts allocated to them, published on the AFM website,” the source quoted by e-nergia.ro notes.

For this year, the amount allocated to the financing session amounts to 230 million lei.
