The capital’s mayoralty assures Bucharest that the process of supplying hot water is carried out normally, without being jeopardized by the current legal or financial situation of RADET and ELCEN.
The Mayor Gabriela Firea announces that “the Government will not agree with the stop of hot water now, in summer time, and of hot water and heat, in winter, regardless of the legal and financial syncopes between ELCEN and RADET,” according to financialintelligence.ro.
“I spoke today with the Prime Minister Dăncila and the Minister of Finance Teodorovici who assured me, both as mayor and Bucharest, that, in any form, the Government will not agree with the cessation of hot water now, in summer, and hot water and heat, in winter, regardless of the legal and financial syncopes between ELCEN and RADET.
Beyond the warlike statements of the ELCEN administrators, both of the special one and especially of the judicial one, the cessation of the delivery of the heat agent in the Capital is not, however, a decision within the reach of those who request it for strictly commercial reasons. We speak here of the critical infrastructure, which must by law have continuity, on which one cannot intervene,”said Firea.
