After almost a year since its inception, the Energy Efficient House Program has the first list of potential beneficiaries – only 66 files accepted out of the over 14,000 enrollments in the program, writes focus-energetic.ro.
The Administration of the Environmental Fund (AFM) has published the first list of files approved under the Energy Efficient House Program. The total approved amount of the projects is 3,203,216.47 lei, it is shown in a press release of AFM.
The financing is granted in a maximum amount of 70,000 lei, including VAT, for each project, without exceeding 60% of the total value of the eligible investment expenses.
The individuals approved in the program will benefit from funds intended to increase energy efficiency and reduce greenhouse gas emissions by reducing energy consumption and the use of renewable sources in single-family homes.
In this first stage of evaluation, 66 funding applications were approved, another 4 files can be accepted, but after some irregularities in the documents will be remedied. And 50 analysis files were rejected. The vast majority of the problems were registered when establishing the energy efficiency criteria and within the limits imposed by the program.
The “Energy Efficient House” program started last year, on September 15, with a budget of 430 million lei, AFM calculating that approximately 9,000 homeowners in Romania will be able to make their homes energy efficient.
