Florin Bănică is the new president of the Environmental Fund Administration

Florin Bănică was appointed president with the rank of state secretary of the Environmental Fund Administration.

The appointment decision signed by Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu was published on Thursday in the Official Gazette.

Florin Bănică held the position of deputy commissioner general of the National Environmental Guard. By a decision of the Prime Minister, he was dismissed from this position.

Also on Thursday, Vasile Carnariu was dismissed from the position of president of the National Agency for Protected Areas. ANAP Vice President, Andra Sabrina Stroe, will exercise the duties of the president until the appointment of the head of the public institution, in accordance with the law, according to Agerpres.

Vasile Carnariu was appointed president, with the rank of state secretary, of the National Agency for Protected Natural Areas, in 2022, by a decision of the then Prime Minister, Nicolae Ciucă.
