OMV Petrom, the largest energy company in South-Eastern Europe, and foodpanda, the largest food ordering platform in Romania, have entered into a partnership through which VIVA products from OMV stations can be ordered through the foodpanda delivery service.

Currently, the service is available in ten cities: Cluj, Iasi, Timisoara, Brasov, Constanta, Bucharest, Targu-Mures, Ploiesti, Galati and Sibiu. Over 130 products from the shop and gastro area, from sandwiches and salads, pastries, sweets and snacks to drinks, electronics and accessories are available for fast deliveries.

Customers can order VIVA Shop & Gastro products in the foodpanda application in the Shops section, and orders are sent to the selected OMV station. Orders are processed at OMV stations and delivered to foodpanda suppliers as soon as possible. The minimum value of an order is of 14.99 lei, and the delivery fee starts from 1.99 lei and varies depending on the distance.

“The partnership was started in June of this year, within a pilot project, which targeted five OMV stations in Cluj. It was very well received, with deliveries of products that were within 30 minutes. We wanted to bring the coffee and sandwich break from VIVA to the office or home, with the same quality products, in a short time. We are now supplementing the number of stations that are part of the project and we are launching Viva Shop & Gastro online orders in nine more cities,” says George Daniel Ion, retail manager of OMV Petrom.
