If last year, a valuable member of the distribution operator was selected to participate in the ASPEN Young Leaders program, this year the supplier CEZ Vânzare also proves that it supports an organizational environment oriented towards performance and evolution.
Adrian Vintilă, Marketing Department Manager and key member of the CEZ Vânzare team, is joining the newest generation Aspen Young Leaders Program this year, a program dedicated to young people who have the potential to bring a change in society and inspire further. The selection process was complex and the competition, high.
“Our people are an essential part of our mission. Their development, and above all, the development of the new generation of energy specialists, undoubtedly means the development of the energy sector. We have many valuable people in CEZ and we are proud to see them grow with every development opportunity. For the second consecutive year, a CEZ representative is admitted to the prestigious Aspen Young Leaders program. It is a recognition of our colleague’s potential, as well as of our learning-oriented organizational culture,” said Angelica Barbu, Chief People & Brand Officer, CEZ Romania.
The Aspen Young Leaders program annually brings together 20-25 young leaders, with various profiles and experiences, who promote an innovative leadership model, based on common values and interests. The program consists of four modules (three 6-day modules and one one-day module) that take place in Romania over the course of a year. The first 3 modules will take place in the periods 24-29 April, 19-24 June and 18-23 September 2023, for the 25 selected participants. After the end of the program, the participants will become part of the Aspen Fellows and Alumni community and will be actively involved in the activities and events of the Aspen Romania Institute, the Aspen Fellows Network and the Aspen International Network.
With 10 years of experience in the energy field, Adrian Vintilă has worked in the energy trading, sales and product development departments, and currently coordinates the marketing activity, as a Department Manager, within the electricity and gas supplier CEZ Vânzare.
A graduate of the Faculty of Mathematics – Computer Science at the University of Craiova and with a master’s program in Marketing and Business Communication, Adrian Vintilă is actively involved in volunteer activities. It frequently facilitates training sessions for children from rural areas, on soft skills and energy efficiency, and advocates for optimal education conditions in rural schools.
In addition, Adrian Vintilă is currently involved in several campaigns to inform the general public on current topics in the energy sector (ceilings, prosumers, responsible energy consumption, projects to combat energy poverty, etc.).
At the same time, Adrian holds the position of President of Future Energy Leaders (FEL) Romania, the youth organization of CNR – CME.
The ASPEN Young Leaders program rewards the values found in the energy sector and Adrian’s participation in this experience is an exceptional recognition of the professionalism with which CEZ specialists carry out their work every day.
