Ford Romania launches the “Door-to-door” auto repair service, within the campaign #Stayathome, through which the company takes over the cars of the customers, and after the repairs, delivers them back to the owners, according to a statement released by Ford on Wednesday.
Ford auto repair units remain open to assist customers who need to drive to do so through the campaign, according to Agerpres.
Launched as a result of the Coronavirus crisis, the campaign ensures, for a cost, the take-over, repair, hygiene and delivery of the customers’ cars, Ford Romania says. Also, the owners benefit from video summaries of the services performed. Thus, Ford makes sure that cars and vans are delivered safely after service interventions.
During the take-over/ repairs/ delivery of the vehicle, disposable gloves, protective masks as well as plastic sheets for the steering wheel and seats will be used. The elements of the machine exposed to the touch will be disinfected with special agents approved by the Ministry of Health, specifies Ford Romania.
