Franklin Templeton International, Bucharest Branch, administrator of Fondul Proprietatea, announces three new promotions. Thus, Călin Meteș was promoted to the position of deputy general manager for Investments of Franklin Templeton Bucharest and deputy portfolio manager of Fondul Proprietatea, Marius Dan was promoted to the position of deputy general manager for Corporate Strategy of Franklin Templeton Bucharest and Daniel Naftali was promoted as deputy portfolio manager of Fondul Proprietatea.

“After recently marking the tenth anniversary of the listing of Fondul Proprietatea on the Bucharest Stock Exchange, reaching some historical milestones during this time, it is essential to look to the future and position the Fund so that it enjoys continuous success. With these in mind, I am pleased to announce the promotions of Călin, Marius and Daniel. Being professionals with investment experience, their promotions expand and strengthen the leadership of our local office and Fondul Proprietatea, demonstrating Franklin Templeton’s long-term commitment to Romania. These promotions also recognize the dedication and hard work of the team, which have made possible the excellent results of the last 10 years. Călin Meteș will focus on investments related to the Fund’s activity, as well as other investments of Franklin Templeton in Romania. Marius Dan will be responsible for the corporate strategy of Fondul Proprietatea, focusing on the development and implementation of the Fund’s corporate and investor relations strategy and Daniel Naftali will work with Călin Meteș and will focus primarily on the relationship with the boards of directors, administration and management of companies in the Fund’s portfolio.
