The CiTyInnoHub programme offers SMEs funding of up to 40,000 euros for digitisation, and up to 60,000 euros in the case of public institutions, said Prof. Alexandru Bobe, pro-rector of Ovidius University of Constanta, at the conference “Digitalization and Energy Efficiency – Constanța”.

CiTyInnoHub provides services totalling 3.1 million euros (15.5 million lei) to 133 beneficiaries in the form of grant funding.

It also delivers pilot projects, writes the documentation for funding and runs training and mentoring programmes for the private and public sectors. CiTyInnoHub aims to be a one-stop-shop for digitisation, providing SMEs and public authorities with technical expertise, financial advice and skills development.

CiTyInnoHub brings together six organisations and is set up to actively contribute to the digital transformation of regional SMEs and increase their competitiveness. The consortium consists of a university, a regional chamber of commerce, an SME association, a OSP association and two consulting firms active in the innovation sector.
