Future Energy Leaders Romania (FEL Romania) announces the launch of “Women for Women in Energy”, its first mentoring programme dedicated to women in the organisation who want to develop their career in the energy sector.
“Women for Women in Energy” aims to help women in the energy sector to overcome professional barriers and reach their full potential by providing knowledge and mentoring directly from nine top women leaders in the Romanian energy industry.
For approximately one month, participants will benefit from one-to-one sessions – both face-to-face and online – that will support the development of key skills such as strategic leadership, corporate governance, effective communication in times of organisational transformation, and work-life balance.
The ladies involved in the programme as mentors are:

- Silvia Vlăsceanu, Executive Director, HENRO
“In FEL Romania we are a community of 40 active members, of which a significant 40 per cent are women,” says Rareș Hurghiș, Executive Director of FEL Romania. The “Women for Women in Energy” programme is a valuable opportunity for the development of young women in energy, contributing to the future of the industry through the experience and advice of the nine leaders. “We thank all the mentors who have dedicated their time and expertise to inspire and guide the next generation, giving us an example of professional excellence and commitment to the future of the industry”, adds Rareș Hurghiș.

Moreover, we believe that through this programme we can inspire as many women as possible to reach their full career potential.”
